     I’m thrilled with the reviews readers have written for my first book, When Wishes Come True. It is an allegory for wise children and sensitive adults from 8 to 108, written to be an inspirational intergenerational reading experience . It is remarkable, though far from surprising, that I continue to hear how adult readers fall in love with this story.

     I am grateful to everyone who has taken the time to do this for Oliver  Owl and Penelope Peahen. I know there are still many of you out there who haven’t had the chance to add your words. We all know that reviews are the best way to create the kind of warm air beneath the wings of these two enchanting birds that will carry them into more homes. For those of you who love  the story and feel comfortable doing so, Oliver and Penelope would appreciate more Five Stars.

     I’m also very touched by the responses I hear from friends and others about my first CD, a tribute to the great lyricist Johnny Mercer,  Remembering Johnny Mercer ~ Centennial Celebration Collection.   There is a direct link below to CD Baby where you can listen to clips of each song. It’s been aired on local shows as well as  around the country and internationally over the world-wide web on Dick Robinson’s “American Standards By The Sea” program. A heartful of thanks to Claire Conti who made it possible for that to happen.

     What sets apart both the book and the CD is a generous portion of the profits will be donated to children who wish to contribute joy to the world through making music. In the case of the CD, the monies will benefit the Friends of Johnny Mercer Education Fund. 

     It has been written when you reach heaven only two questions are asked of you~~~How much joy did you give? How much joy did you receive?  It is with great joy that I write and sing, and offer what flows from that to you.
